BGAN (Broadband Global Area Network) is a mobile communications system created to transmit broadband wireless voice and data communications almost anywhere on the earth's surface.
It provides users with instant plug-and-play voice and data communication, over a 492 kbps shared channel. BGAN offers global IP connections to access the Internet, emails and corporate networks via a portable, lightweight satellite IP modem with plug & play capability.
